TIPA® offers various packaging options for fresh produce that protect your product’s shelf-life and freshness. Suggested for packing: fruit, vegetables, and cut salads.
TIPA® products can be converted on conventional converting machinery. Our films and laminates are designed to fit your existing machinery and chain of supply systems, making your packaging journey an effortless one.
For custom printed packaging, minimum order quantity is on average 30,000 units per design or 500kg for reels (MOQ may change according to bag size and thickness)
TIPA’s home and industrially compostable films and laminates are certified by TÜV Austria OK Compost Home, BPI, TÜV Austria OK Compost Industrial and European Bioplastics and comply with international compostability standards EN 13432, ASTM D6400, AS 5810 as well as relevant EU & US food contact regulations
The US only has a standard for industrially compostable packaging, which is certified by BPI. TIPA’s industrially compostable laminates are certified to this standard. TIPA’s industrially compostable film is certified by TÜV Austria Industrial, and TIPA’s home compostable films and laminates are certified by TÜV Austria OK Compost Home.
TIPA’s compostable packaging has been found to outperform conventional plastic for shelf-life of fresh produce in two peer reviewed studies. Each packed product should reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
